Firstly, huge congratulations — twins is incredible!

I’m replying even though this post was submitted around eight months ago, as I’ve been on a similar journey. I’m now 11 months postpartum after a C-section, and while my tummy no longer hangs over the scar, there is definitely still a firm pouch there. For me, it hasn’t completely disappeared, and I’ve had to do a lot of mental work around accepting that too.

I’ve tried medical-grade silicone pads from Frida Mom and a C-section balm, and while they may have helped a little with how the scar looks, I’m not sure the results were quite as good as I expected or thought they would be. That said, everyone is so different.

I’ve just watched the scar massage video on the website and will be giving that a proper go.

If anyone has any recommendations that genuinely helped them, I’d really love to hear them too. It’s mainly the pouch that bothers me, I’m learning to accept the scar.

My 13 week old has cried pretty much since he was born. I'm at the doctors with him all the time... he is now on amino acid based milk for suspected cmpa and has also just started omeprazole although he doesn't actually have cmpa symptoms or reflux symptoms, his only symptom is constant screaming. I try my best to bond with him, but I've started to realise it's not possible when all he does is scream. It's made me dislike his name now because I'm constantly saying his name trying to calm him down and I don't see holding him as enjoyable because it's always when he's screaming.

I've tried to book multiple baby classes to do with him but we never make it inside because he's screaming too much and im so embarrassed, its so upsetting when I see other mums with their babies all chilled and getting out and about. It's got to the point now where I openly admit I don't enjoy being his mum and I'm missing out on my three year old which makes me resentful.

I don't really know what else to do, I can't even comfort him so he doesn't seem to have bonded with me either. Anyone experienced similar?
