No-bake chocolate almond lactation bars

Magnesium from nuts and chocolate may help reduce fatigue and muscle cramps

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

✳️ Method:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, ground flaxseed, mini dark chocolate chips, chopped almonds, and a pinch of salt (optional).
  2. In a separate bowl, warm the almond butter and honey slightly (microwave for 10–15 seconds) to make mixing easier.
  3. Add vanilla extract to the almond butter-honey mixture.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix thoroughly until the mixture becomes sticky and well incorporated.
  5. Press the mixture firmly into a lined 8×8-inch baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or until firm. Cut into bars and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
