Energy balls

These bite-sized snacks offer a balance of healthy fats, fibre, and natural sugars, making them perfect for a quick energy boost when you need it most

Ingredients:

  • 180g oats
  • 120g peanut butter
  • 60ml honey
  • 15g chia seeds

Instructions:

  1. Measure all your ingredients before, in a large mixing bowl, combining the oats, peanut butter, honey and chia seeds.
  2. Stir until everything is well incorporated and the mixture is sticky but firm enough to form into balls. If the mixture is too dry, try adding a little more peanut butter or honey.
  3. Using your hands or a tablespoon, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
  4. Place the energy balls in a lined baking tray ensuring they aren’t touching and freeze until the balls are firm.
  5. Once the energy balls are frozen, transfer them to a freezer safe container or bag. Label the date and store for up to 3 months
