Ingredients:

  • 1 cup mashed cooked sweet potato
  • 1/2 cup mashed chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup oats or breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • Salt, pepper, olive oil

✳️ Method:

  1. In a large bowl, combine mashed sweet potato, chickpeas, oats/breadcrumbs, flaxseed, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Mix until the mixture is sticky and can hold shape.
  3. Form into small patties.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Cook patties for 3–4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.
  6. Serve warm with a yogurt or tahini dip, or store cold in the fridge.
