Date, coconut & oat bliss balls

Great for one-handed snacking during breastfeeding

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Medjool dates (pitted)
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

✳️ Method:

  1. Place dates in warm water for 5–10 minutes if they are dry.
  2. Add all ingredients to a food processor: soaked dates, oats, shredded coconut, ground flaxseed, coconut oil, and cinnamon.
  3. Pulse until the mixture becomes sticky and starts to clump together. Scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. Roll into bite-sized balls using your hands (lightly dampen hands to prevent sticking).
  5. Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before eating. Store in the fridge or freezer.

🌿 Postpartum Health Benefits: Dates are high in natural sugars and iron, supporting recovery and energy. Coconut oil provides MCTs (medium-chain triglycerides) for quick-burning fuel. Cinnamon stabilizes blood sugar, reducing postpartum energy crashes. Great for one-handed snacking during breastfeeding
