Nourishing ginger-almond postpartum tonic (hot drink)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk (or other plant-based milk)
  • 1-inch fresh ginger (grated)
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 date (pitted and chopped)
  • 1 tsp almond butter
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • Optional: 1 scoop collagen peptides

Method:

  1. Heat almond milk in a saucepan with ginger, cinnamon, and chopped date.
  2. Let it gently simmer for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, stir in almond butter and optional collagen.
  4. Strain (if desired), blend or whisk to froth, and serve warm.
